is an Ivorian-American filmmaker with a passion for experimental film, documentary, and animation—rooted in post-production. Her work explores themes of tradition, relationship dynamics, and multicultural identity shaped by migration. She’s drawn to slice-of-life storytelling for its intimacy and emotional depth.

Her creative journey began with the Re:imagine Emerge Media Apprenticeship in 2022, which led to work as a Production Coordinator in commercial filmmaking and sparked her pursuit of storytelling across formats.

Olivia is currently earning her MFA in Digital Filmmaking at Georgia State University on a full assistantship. Her recent short film, Ankara, won Best Micro Short at Bring Your Brilliance, the Audience Award at CATLAB Film Festival, and was selected for the Georgia Film Festival.

As a freelance editor, photographer, and video producer, she’s collaborated with Atlanta-based organizations like WABE, Create ATL, and Re:imagine/ATL. Olivia is always open to creative collaborations that center culture, storytelling, and craft.

I believe in creating art that is full of joy, that celebrates life, because joy is a form of resistance.
